Requirements For ALL Suppliers of Critical Material

Supplier shall notify Space Science Services
Inc. of nonconforming material, changes in product, or process
definition.

Supplier shall grant right of access by Space
Science Services Inc., their customers, and regulatory authorities
to all facilities involved in the order and to all applicable
records.
-
Supplier shall flow down to sub-tier suppliers
the applicable requirements within the purchasing documents,
including key characteristics where required.
- Revision status of technical data.

for Suppliers of Magnetic Particle Materials
Relevant Product Specifications / Requirements:
ASTM E 1444 and ASME Sec. V
Certifications of Compliance Required:
Certification of compliance to ASTM E 1444 and ASME Sec. V for each item
and/or batch number.
Instructions for Order:

Magnetic particle inspection materials supplied
are to comply with the requirements of ASTM E 1444 and ASME Sec. V.

Certification of compliance to ASTM E 1444 and
ASME Sec. V for each item and/or batch number to be shipped to Space
Science Services, Inc. with magnetic particle inspection materials.

Penetrant inspection materials supplied are to
comply with the requirements for ASTM E 1417 and ASME Sec. V.

Science Services, Inc. with penetrant inspection materials.

Suppliers of Radiographic Film
Relevant Product Specifications / Requirements:
ASTM E 1815
Certifications of Compliance Required: Evidence of
compliance to ASTM E upon Space Science, Inc. request.
Instructions for Order:

Radiographic film supplied is to comply with
the film classification requirements of ASTM E 1815.
- Evidence of
compliance to ASTM E 1815 to be supplied to Space Science Services, Inc.
upon request.

Suppliers of Calibration Service
Relevant Product Specifications / Requirements:
Certification of compliance to ANSI/ NCSL Z540.1 and (if applicable)
certification of traceability NIST standards used to for each
calibration performed.
Certifications of Compliance Required: Evidence of
compliance to ASTM E upon Space Science, Inc. request.
Instructions for Order:

Calibration facility must be in compliance with
ANSI/ NCSL Z540.1.

All test standards used in calibration shall be
traceable to the National Institute for Standards and Technology.
-
Before calibration and after calibration measurements shall be reported
(if applicable)

ASTM E 747, ISO 1027 (as required)
Certifications of Compliance Required:
Certification of compliance to applicable specification required.
Instructions for Order:

Wire-type penetrameters supplied are to comply
with the requirements of the applicable specification.

Certification of compliance to the applicable specification for
penetrameters to be shipped to Space Science Services, Inc. with
penetrameters purchased.

with the requirements of the applicable specification.
